This Women’s Month, we are excited to focus on the empowerment of women.
In addition to our various courses, we have food processing and preservation, which has been extremely well-received, and participants love the course. Earlier this month, we hosted the course at Orange Farm in Soweto, focusing on food processing and preservation. The women on the course not only learnt the various techniques involved in preserving and processing food, such as canning and fermenting, but also how to use these skills to earn an income and feed their families. They showed their gratitude in the most heartwarming ways, such as through a song.
