Please see below as to what the requirements are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job advert: Paralegal, Musina office.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1 wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<strong>PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS 20 AUGUST<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reporting person \u2013 The Musina office Team Leader<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage and support an integrated legal support process at the Musina office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage the caseload, legal referrals, daily walk-ins, and take them through processing, exit and filing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare applications for renewals (asylum and refugee status) and secondary support for foreign nationals;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with newcomer orientation, preparation and representation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accompany participants to government departments and representation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist and advise with late registration of births;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide advice on VFS applications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocate for migrant and refugee participation, social inclusion and public participation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organise quarterly stakeholder meetings to strengthen efforts in networking, communication, and keeping up to date with the latest legislation on migration, refugees, and citizens;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep clients informed of the progress of their cases;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage immigration inquiries, gather required information, and keep clients informed of progress;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain hard copy files and enter data into an immigration case management system;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respond to immigration inquiries promptly and adhere to submission deadlines; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in regular community outreaches and campaigns in Musina and surrounding rural communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must have completed an LLB degree or have paralegal qualifications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have the ability to collaborate with immigration attorneys and regional paralegal managers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a strong willingness to engage with, learn, and understand the challenges related to visa, permanent residency, and secondary benefit applications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be detail-oriented;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a good understanding of the migration and refugee legal framework or a willingness to learn more about the migration and refugee legal framework.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a passion for and an understanding of migration;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have excellent MS Office and spreadsheet\/database development skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to handle multiple projects, prioritise work and work effectively under limited supervision;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to work under pressure and deliver under short timeframes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have good project management skills; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having a Code 8 driving licence will be beneficial but is not a prerequisite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are a non-South African citizen, please ensure that all required documents for work and residency in South Africa are correct and current.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must reside in Musina.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a cover letter stating why you are applying for the advertised position and stipulating your interest in the field of migration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please submit a CV, certified copies of qualifications, ID or Passport, and all required documents if you are a non-South African Citizen, with a cover letter stating why you are applying for the advertised position and stipulating your interest in the field of migration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please forward your CVs by 20 August 2026 to info@outreachfoundation.co.za or call Jeaniah Mpanda on 011 720 7011<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This is a one-year position based at our office in Musina.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A one-year position is available for a paralegal in our Musina office.
