Outreach Foundation recently hosted another migrant workshop, this time in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with Railway Children.
The workshop was very well received, and among the participants were the following organisations:
Lawyers without Borders, The Embassy of the United States of America (Passport and VISA fraud division), COMHESWA, IOM, LATRA, TABOA, Tanzania Relief Initiatives, ROMME Love Justice Tanzania, Ekama Development Foundation, Plan International, Tanzania Women Lawyers Association, CARITAS, Free Hands Tanzania, Tanzania Network Against Human Trafficking, The Southern African Human Rights NGO Network, Action for Change, Anti-trafficking Secretariat (ATS), Dar es Salaam Tumaini University, Immigration Department, RCA, UNHCR, Representatives from Danish Refugee Council (DRC) (providing services and humanitarian protection and assistance to refugees and other people).
The organisations workshopped various migration issues and agreed to form a working group to continue the conversation and push the agreed agenda.
