In February, in all our offices (Johannesburg, Pretoria and Musina) our teams hit the ground running. On a daily basis, our social workers assist with Family Preservation through counselling, psychosocial support, family reunification and assistance with school placement while also offering support to those suffering from Substance Abuse and offering other services to walk-ins and site visits.
We have offered training in English, beautician, sewing and fashion design, digital skills training, food preparation, solar geyser installation, business development and life skills like self-awareness. Our on-the-job volunteer programme participants assist with the rooftop food garden in the morning and tutor school-going learners.
