In memory of Gladys Jackson
Gladys JacksonGladys joined Boitumelo in 2005 and very quickly we were in wonderment at her ability to be creative. She worked hard and soon was appointed as a facilitator for Ilithuba, a  project initiated by Tina Craig and partnering with Boitumelo Crafters.  She always had a solution to any craft problem, taught hundreds of students how to knit and her embroidered Lipton Tea cushion was a favourite with all the clients.
Her dedication as a parent was admirable and all her energy was to ensure the best education for her son Miguel.
We are grateful that we could share the past 13 years with her. Love and light to her family.

This is not only a journey out of Hillbrow to the National Arts Festival for a company of young and not so young people, but a day on the beach too! (For many of the cast, it'll be their first time at the beach and the NAF)
