Youth Empowerment Workshops

Earlier this month we hosted a workshop with youth that not only assisted them in how they can communicate with their family, friends and partners about what matters to them but also how sex and relationships impact their educational and economic future.

This was an introduction to what we will continue to chat to them about going forward.

Among the topics, we will discuss are

* Teen pregnancy prevention;
* STI/HIV prevention;
* Sexual violence prevention;
* Disparities related to the LGBTQI+ communities; and
* Disparities related to race, ethnicity, physical abilities and socioeconomic statuses.

The response to the workshop was good and we look forward to engaging with the youth and chatting about these important issues.
